Up, Up, and Coming!
We’re aiming for a weekend that makes you feel nostalgic while it’s happening. Though your schedule will ultimately be your own, we’ll have a full complement of options for the weekend, including speakers and classes focused on mastering useful skills. Meals (breakfast, lunch, & a light or large dinner, depending on the day) will be included. And it will look something like this:
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 10:
4 pm: Registration opens
7-10 pm: Welcome Party. “Raising a Glass to Giving” with Ecco Domani Wines. Featuring, The TonTons.
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 11:
8:30-9:30 am: Breakfast
9:30-10 am: Welcome remarks
10-11 am: Brian Piotrowicz + Maggie Mason
11-11:30 am: Snacks!
11:30 am-12:15 pm: Evany Thomas
12:30-1 pm: Buster Benson
1-2 pm: Lunch
2-3 pm: Ronald McDonald House Helping Hands Activity, sponsored by McDonald’s
3-4 pm: Social Media for Social Good mini-discussion session led by Catherine Connors, Sponsored by Johnson & Johnson
3-5 pm: Skill Acquisition, Day 1
- Adult Swim: Learn a basic freestyle, breast-stroke, and backstroke with not-embarrassing form
- Saber open a bottle of champagne. Like a boss. (4 pm)
- Punch! Mixing batch drinks for a party so you’re not stuck behind the bar. (4 pm)
- Perfect Mixtape. Basic structures for parties, events, and pitching woo. Where were you in the ‘80s?
6-7 pm: Costume up, friends.
7-10 pm: Space Camp Party
