    BMW and other great car sounds

     This website is a subdomain of myMCoupe.com. It was created because I had the idea to grab audio clips of my friend's BMWs so I could use them as contact-specific ringtones on my Motorola Droid. One thing led to another and after many hours sorting through my extensive collection of automotive videos I had created many mp3s! Since the sound is the soul of most high-performance automobiles I decided to broaden the scope of the initial project.

     I acknowledge that the sound quality will generally not be up to the level of an audio engineer. Luckily, I am not an audio engineer. They are good enough for my Droid. These mp3s were created on the hobbyist level, purely for entertainment purposes. As such, all are free to download and use as ringtones, alarms, desktop sounds, or just listen to.

     Since my current files are limited in scope I welcome submissions of audio and/or video files. Please choose files carefully as I cannot use audio that has excessive background noise, static, talking or wind noise. For any files submitted I will need the year, make and model of car, as well as any modifications that would alter the sound (IE: exhaust mods, superchargers, etc.).
     Note: My email will block any attachment larger than 5.0Mb, so if you wish to send me a larger file(s) please email me with no attachment first and we will make arrangements to transfer the larger file.
