Villa Michelle is your best bet if you find a dog or cat you know needs help but you can't take yourself 787-834-4510 They may put the animal down, but you save an animal from suffering on the streets
Donations are used to feed, neuter and find homes for Rincon Animals. Donations for Papi, the lame Rincon horse we are caring for, are very much welcome.

When you visit Rincon, or any part of Puerto Rico, please consider spending some time helping the island animals. Helping can simply be keeping some animal food and water in your car - place it out when you surf, snorkel or beach-it (or see them on the side of the road while driving). Take an animal home unaccompanied via Continental Airlines PetSafe program. Or, you can simply write a letter to the officials of Puerto Rico. Did you know it was this bad?

Animal abuse and mistreatment is a felony in Puerto Rico. You can call the police thru out the island via 911. In Rincon if you see a dead or abused animal you can also call directly at 787-823-2015 or 2020. The Law 154 is not perfect so if possible be there to assist the police.
