Adrian Phiffer is originally from Romania. He received his B Arch degree from University of Architecture and Urbanism “Ion Mincu” in Bucharest, and a Master of Urban Design degree from University of Toronto. In 2001-2002 he studied at Ecole d’Architecture de Toulouse under a Socrates-Erasmus Scholarship offered by the European Union. He has worked with Baird Sampson Neuert Architects and Moriyama & Teshima Architects in Toronto, and with Office for Metropolitan Architecture in Rotterdam. In parallel to Office of Adrian Phiffer, he teaches graduate classes in architecture and urbanism at University of Toronto - John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape, and Design.
Shirin Rohani is a Toronto based architect and urban planner with special interest in experimenting with design methodologies throughout her works. Shirin holds a master degree in Urban Design from University of Toronto, and also a master degree in Architecture from University of Art & Architecture of Tehran, Iran. She has been the recipient of the Architectural Students Award in Iran for her thesis work in 1999. Her work experience includes working with Bahram Shirdel Architects in Iran, Diamond Schmidt Architects, and HOK Canada in Toronto. While at Bahram Shirdel Architects”she has led several award winning competitions, such as Iranian Embassies in Brasilia and Caracas, and revitalization of the ancient city of Yazd. Most recently she has been collaborating with Moriyama &Teshima Architects in Toronto, developing the comprehensive master plan for the city of Makah in Saudi Arabia.
