What is The Truth (Booth)?

Finish this sentence: What is the truth…?
The Truth Booth will be inflating on the front lawn of the Mcguffey Art Center for the 2012 Festival. The booth is much like a photo booth, so sit down, and start talking, the only rule being to finish the statement: “The truth is…” We promise a priest isn’t on the other side.
All of the responses will be catalogued and appear on the website. The goal of the project is to collect a diverse number of responses to the statement, creating a portrait that spans demographics across the globe.

Chris Boot curates 60 years of Aperture Books at LOOK3!
The LOOK3 Festival will be hosting the Aperture at Sixty Library. Aperture, a quarterly periodical, founded in 1952 is being brought back together in Charlottesville in celebration of Aperture’s sixtieth anniversary. The opportunity to showcase the highlights of Aperture’s storied publishing program and its contribution to the evolving narrative over the pasty sixty years is tremendous. The library will function much like a turn of the century library; visitors will be able to pick up and handle the books and explore the curated exhibit at their leisure. The Aperture at Sixty Library not only highlights the many contributions that the Aperture photographers have made over the past sixty years, but it also recognizes the importance of the periodical and the printed page as a forum for the advancement of photography.
