Holiday rental: Calls for Offers - How does it work?

What is a Call for Offers ?

Launching a Call for Offers through our website enables you to see all the holiday rental properties available on our website that correspond to your criteria (price rate, rental property location, accommodation facilities, availability period...). Each owner whose holiday rental property corresponds to your criteria is informed and provides their best offer. In your personal account, you can view the different offers and compare them. Your reservation is made directly with the owner. There are no fees on the commission.

This service is completely free for tenants. Owners must pay a package fee in order for their advertisement to be published on our website.

5 steps to launch an invitation to tenders:

1. Select your criteria: Choose the holiday rental that suits you the best

You must provide the following information before launching a call for offers:

The department or city you select for your future holiday (you can also broaden your request within a certain km radius).
The period for which you wish to make a reservation
The number of people
The price you are willing to pay

For example: I am looking for a holiday rental property for 6 people, near Saint-Malo (within maximum 3 km) from the 6th to the 13th of August. I am ready to pay up to €750 for the rental. To find the holiday rental property that matches perfectly, I will therefore launch a call for offers indicating:

City: Saint-Malo
Radius: 3 km
Check-in date: August 6th
Check-out date: August 13th
Number of people: 6
Maximum total price: 750 €

2. Launch a call for offers: You must click on “Launch a call for offers”.

Before launching a call for offers, you must first create an account on our website or log in if you already have one in order to see the owners’ offers. It's completely free!

To create an account, click on the link “Tenants” and complete the form. At the end of the form, click on “Confirm”. You will then immediately receive an email confirming your registration on our website. In the email the confirmation link will enable you to log in and confirm your call for offers in your personal account.

3. The owners receive your request: Each call for offers is confirmed by a member of Genius Holidays before being posted. Generally it is confirmed within the hour. After confirmation, each owner whose accommodation matches perfectly with your criteria is informed of your request by email or text message. The owner can respond directly to your request through their personal account.

4. Your request is posted on your homepage: your call for offers is posted on the “Call for offers” page as well as on your homepage. You can follow the offers made by the owners on the spot (average price, number of responses..). The details concerning the owners accommodation is hidden for 7 days so giving you an advantage on the others. You can see the details of the matching accommodations in your personal space. Your access to all the information on the properties (description of the accommodation, owner’s personal data...) is completely free.

5. You can view the owners’ offers from your personal account: From your personal account you can access the different offers and the accommodation details. You can compare the offers, ask the owners questions and contact them by phone. Your access to all the information necessary to rent holiday accommodation is entirely free! There are no fees on the commission. So, if a holiday rental property on our website pleases you, don't hesitate, make a reservation immediately!
