What Was Needed

East Valley School District had a web presence. The website that they had was fairly consistent in the presentation of information. In fact, they had websites for the schools as well. The look was simple and consistent, but lacked a liveliness that is apparent when dealing with students and teachers in a K-12 school district.

What We Delivered

Through a creative assessment we determined that the District needed a breath of fresh air to help communicate a fresh, growing learning environment. This goal paired with the development of a new logo from another contractor, was the impetus for an exciting new website.

The website touts bright, bold colors that are tempered with grays and browns. In addition, the site boasts creative sections that help to communicate messages. Key communications have been assessed and pushed out through the homepage on the site. Applications like the Calendar System, and News Article System help to communicate timely messages. In addition, the Featured Person Application on the homepage helps the District to tell a story about key initiatives.

The District has the ability to update and add copy to the website through the Content Management System. They can post jobs through the Employment System. In addition, links to all of their existing third party applications were set up so that teachers/administrators can access email and other daily business oriented systems.

SWC also developed websites for each of EVSD's Schools.
