Children and family services in Scotland
For Quarriers the very reason we’re here is to combat the challenges faced by children. Our founder William Quarrier grew up in poverty and experienced the misery that a lack of money, affection and hope can bring. Since 1871, Quarriers has developed a wide range of family and children’s services. We take a holistic and eco-friendly approach and put child-centred care into practice. It’s our goal to treat every family as a unique unit and every child as an individual.
Quarriers social care for children and families
Caring for children and families means focusing on making sure their needs are met. So Quarriers has developed services for carers which encourage independence but also guarantee support. Our holistic approach enables us to provide family resource centres and support services which work in unison. We offer fostering and befriending services which are targeted to give short or long-term support when it’s really needed.
And we do what Quarriers is world-renowned for. We specialise in providing residential childcare, childcare at home and short-break respite services which help transform children’s lives.
