Provides Superior Fixation by Using Opposing Pin Placement with Reduced Pin Forces. (patent pending)

The Dinkler Surgical Skull Clamp provides superior fixation by using opposing pin placement.  Application of force by the torque knob has an equal and opposite reaction by the opposite side providing optimal fixation. An additional third pin can be placed circumferentially about the opposing pins to prevent rotation and support fixation which is advantageous for both adult and younger patients.

Third Pin Placement Offers Greater Flexibility in Positioning (patent pending)

The Dinkler Surgical Skull Clamp performs well with nearly 50% of the amount of force that is typically used with skull clamps using a rocker arm.  The force being applied by the torque screw does not need to be as great as clamps that employ a rocker arm. Clamps with rocker arms require the torque screw input force to be sufficient enough to distribute the applied force to the rocker arm pins.

The Dinkler Surgical Skull Clamp, with the rotatable arc, is a major improvement to all designs employing a rocker arm concept. The opposed pin design provides superior fixation regardless of procedure.

The third pin placement is completely independent from the two opposed pins.
