AFTER 13 seasons as a player at Loughgall, goalkeeper Marc Robinson has called time on his career at Lakeview Park.
It has been a truly memorable time for Robinson who has been Loughgall's longest-serving player in the modern era.
Robinson is leaving the Villagers to join Derriaghy Cricket Club, managed by for Loughgall captain Michael Lamont.
And Robinson can joion his new club safe in the knowledge that he will be regarded as a real legend of Loughgall.
League titles, Radcliffe Cup, Mid-Ulster Cups, Intermediate Cups, League Cups - Robinson has won them all.
He captained the team and last year he took over as joint interim manager for the second half of the season following Niall Currie's departure.
“I have so many good memories I wouldn't even know where to start," said Robinson.
“I would like to thank everyone involved with Loughgall, past and present. I had the best 13 years you could ask for.
“Loughgall has been such a huge part in my life and the club will always have a special place in my heart and I've made so many friends during the years.
“There's been highs and lows but being part of the team to get into the Premiership is right up there.
“But that is only one of so many happy memories and I wouldn't change a thing.
“It's been a tough decision to come to, but one I eventually would have had to make.
“I'll always keep an eye on Loughgall's result and I wish them all the best for next season and in the years to come."
The Villagers have also been hit with a second high-profile departure.
Stephen Doyle, who was top scorer for the club this season, has agreed to join Premiership outfit Donegal Celtic.
Doyle's departure will be a huge blow for manager Colin Malone who must now fill two vital positions.
