Linking to ElectedNet

Do you want to make an automatic link from your home page to the representatives from your state? Here's the URL to use: www.hoboes.com/Politics/electednet/?State=XX, where "XX" is the two-letter postal abbreviation for the state.

You can also make a link to party members: use "Party=X" instead of "State=XX", where "X" is D for Democrats, and R for Republicans. Use I for other parties, although there aren’t very many (two as I write this, one from Vermont and one from Connecticut).

Examples:

  • Vermont: www.hoboes.com/Politics/electednet/?State=VT
  • Democrats: www.hoboes.com/Politics/electednet/?Party=D
  • Michigan Republicans: www.hoboes.com/Politics/electednet/?State=MI&Party=R

The results page will automatically include a link back to your search page. If you want to give your search page a name, so that it shows up as a linked name rather than a linked URL, add "&Origin=name" to what you use to link to ElectedNet.
