What Does The Night Ministry Do?
Since 1976, The Night Ministry, a non-denominational, non-profit organization, has served Chicago’s most vulnerable. We accept people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or social status and strive to build positive relationships with them. We connect youth and adults in need to basic resources and opportunities for housing, employment, education, and supportive services through our Health Outreach Bus, Youth Outreach Van, and Youth Shelter Network. The Night Ministry offers services in a welcoming and affirming environment, where our “ministry” is one of serving others.

Our Mission
The Night Ministry compassionately provides housing, health care, outreach, spiritual care, and social services to adults and youth who struggle with homelessness, poverty and loneliness. We accept individuals as they are and offer support as they seek to improve their lives. We invite others to join this hope-filled work.
