Jesus Breaks Every Fetters
I have precious memories of yester years.  Young and growing up in church we sang a powerful old hymn entitled “Jesus Breaks Every Fetter.” Today this song still brings back wonderful precious memories and is blessing me right now!   Echoing loudly in my ear I can hear the words of this awesome song and my heart is melting in total surrender to God.  Wow! We sang this song over twenty five years ago, but right now,  I feel as if I’m standing in church 25 years ago singing this song with our pastor. 

What is a fetter?  A fetter is a chain or shackle for the feet,   something that confines or restrained us.  Jesus our savior BREAKS EVERY FETTERS.  God gives us the victory through Jesus Christ.  Through Jesus nothing can enslave or imprison us.  The Word of God says, “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus the Messiah!”  I Corinthians 15:57
