It seems that the need to express myself through songs has been a part of me since I was a little girl. Whenever there was a birthday or something else to celebrate in my family, I always wrote a little song to pay tribute to the person we were celebrating.
When I was 12, I got my first guitar, and from then on I started writing my own melodies and the lyrics developed into being more than occasional poems. I began writing about “Life and Love” – a theme that has stayed with me ever since.
At the age of 20, I began playing in my first band and we performed with my songs as well as the songs of my fellow band members. In the following years I joined several other bands, and the theme of the songs that I wrote in this period was still of “Life and Love”, but there were also songs with social and political messages, which was typical for that time.
During the last 10 years I have had this strong feeling of being led and nudged to get my songs out to a bigger public and at the same time I gradually became conscious of having a team-work with the spiritual world – both in the process of writing the songs as well as in the process of producing my albums.
It is my impression that my songs owns a very strong desire in themselves to be spread and listened to all over the planet in order to help the healing and uplifting of the minds and bodies of mankind. I believe that music and lyrics possess a very powerful energy which effects the listener on a deep level, and I believe that the time has come where people on Earth are open minded and ready for music with wisdom, joy and intense healing-potential, that you can listen to on every occasion and every day. For enjoyment, relaxation and dancing. Thus I am happy to contribute with songs that are touching the divine part of the listener and lifting and refining the energy around us.
Living my life in balance and harmony with the deep and divine inner wisdom of my Heart and Soul has for several years been a pattern of strength in my life. I know that the choices I make are crucial for the way my life turns out. At the same time I am sure that we human beings will receive all the help we need from the Angels and the Spiritual Guides who surround us and always are prepared to lend us a hand of guidance and support. We only have to ask. And that help seems rather necessary since we are living in a world where we don’t learn a lot about staying connected with our Hearts and Souls, whereas the connection with our Head and Mind is much more enthused, encouraged and therefore applied.
Working with the music and my songs is really helping me stay connected with my Heart. If listening to my songs can help other Human Beings get in touch with the deep and divine wisdom of their Hearts and Souls, thus remembering who they really are, I shall be very happy. This is the chief aim of my writing, singing, and publishing of the songs.
