Isis debuts at SXSW

We just got back from the 2012 South by Southwest Interactive festival. Over the course of eight days, hundreds of tech-enthusiasts took the Isis™ Mobile Wallet for a test drive. We also had the privilege of having cyber-illusionist Marco Tempest perform live at our booth. If you weren’t in Austin or weren’t able to swing by the Isis lounge or booth, check out this video to see the Isis™ Mobile Wallet in action or watch Marco put credit cards on his phone. Austinist: Isis selects Austin for mobile commerce

We were excited to see the Austinist shed light on another benefit of Isis’ mobile commerce platform—mobile coupons. Isis’ mobile wallet will allow consumers to store and redeem coupons, loyalty cards and offers.

Austin American-Statesman: Austin to launch mobile payments

Today is a big day – we’ve announced that Austin will join Salt Lake City as an Isis launch market in 2012. One local merchant, Ben White Florist, told Austin American-Statesman said the concept of mobile commerce is incredible. “People in Austin, they want to do business with businesses that are up with the times,” the owner explained.

Salt Lake Tribune: Isis working with UTA to enable mobile payments

The Salt Lake Tribune highlighted the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) as one of the reasons Isis selected Salt Lake City to be a launch market. Transit will be key to driving adoption of mobile commerce, so our partnership with the UTA – which is already NFC-enabled – is an important milestone.
