Case Studies
Olivia Parker was chosen by Bournemouth University as the best final year student on a Partner College programme in 2010.
Olivia studied the BTEC National Diploma in Public Services at Weymouth College and wasn't sure if she wanted to carry on to university-level education until her tutor told her she would be able to enrol on a Bournemouth University degree course by completing all of her study at Degree Centre Weymouth.
Gareth Unwin, the producer of the award-winning film 'The Kings Speech' studied the BTEC National Diploma in Media at Weymouth College in 1991.
He recently returned to the campus, to see our new facilities, and commented that The Hive was a very impressive building full of lots of lovely kit.
Weymouth College also provided a creative spark for Gareth, who won a junior version of the BAFTA awards for a short film he shot during his time studying here.
