The Boathouse District will host the OKC Nationals for drag boat racing June 8-10. RIVERSPORT Adventure Saturdays on June 9 will have a few minor adjustments to keep activities west of the Lincoln Blvd. bridge. Check-in for Adventure Saturdays, for this week only, will be at the Chesapeake Boathouse. Please allow plenty of time to park. Free parking will be available on the Lincoln Blvd. bridge. You can also visit us at the Route 66 Boathouse at 3115 E. Overholser Dr. for Adventure Saturdays fun.

Four OKC rowers have qualified for this year’s Olympic Games. The men’s lightweight four needed to finish in the top two of the qualifying race to make the cut. The men, who train at the OKC National High Performance Center, took first place and the right to compete in London! [more]
2012 U.S. Olympic Team Trials • Canoe/Kayak took place on the Oklahoma River, April 20-21 with two-time Olympian Carrie Johnson earning her third trip to the Olympic games with a vicroty in the Womens K-1 500m race [more on OlympicTrialsOKC.org].
