April 29th Thank you everyone for sticking with me these past few weeks. When I signed up for grad school I expected that life would get much much busier, but I figured it would be the acedemic workload that would get to me, not life. It is not that I have not had the time to update the comic, but I have been dragging myself through some pretty rough patches and had other things weighing on my mind so come sunday I haven't had much motivation left to actually update. I appreciate your patience with me, I realize it can be frusterating when things don't update on time. Hopefully I will keep to a semi coherent schedule in future. A penchant for gold is something I think I picked up as an admirer of Micheal Whelan's work early on. Anyone who reads science fiction or fantasy knows his work even if they don't know it he's illustrated most of the most famous fantasy and scifi books out there and unlike many in the genre he can actually paint! He uses a lot of yellow.
