We are pround to announce Print Review Sessions These discussions are designed for photographers seeking creative direction. Portfolio reviews will involve guest speakers discussing their areas of expertise. Anyone, regardless of experience, is welcome to participate, discuss, and show work. Making the Most of Your Digital Camera - Digital Camera Basics Understanding Evening and Night Photography- Hands on walk-about photographing with evening light Night Photography Image reviews Taking your imaging to the next level Image presentation, Selling your work Approaching galleries First the highly informative classroom session is tailor made for the beginning digital photographer. Understanding your digital camera's controls will give you a photographic edge. If you have a point-and-shoot, bridge camera, or entry level DSLR and you want to understand how to get the most out of your camera then this class is a must. Included in this class is a section dedicated to evening light and night photography --- Lights At Night: Scottsdale Twilight Walkabout After the digital class, scheduled to coincide with sunset and evening light, we will go on an hour and a half walk through downtown Scottsdale. This is your opportunity to take what you have learned in the classroom, ask questons about what you have just learned, and apply your new skills to your image making decisions. As we stroll through downtown Scottsdale's Art District with our cameras we'll have abundant opportunites to take full advantage of saturated evening light. --- Print review Conversation about taking your imaging to the next level. This segment of the workshop will be scheduled after you have completed the first two parts and returned to share your images with the group. Peer critique as well as guest photographers will discuss your work, guide you as you polish your craft, make helpful suggestions about paper and presentation choices.
