What are the minimum requirements needed to listen to MoneyTalk OnDemand successfully?

PC users:

Pentium II or higher with Windows 2000 or XP operating system.

Your internet connection should be no less than a 56k dial-up.

If you are running a version of Windows that is older than 2000, you may still download the program by clicking here. Windows 98 users will not be able to stream the program from their desktops.

Upgrade software is available at your nearest computer supply store.

If you are using an AOL browser window to access this service, you will have to open a new non-AOL browser window as AOL has built in blocks that can prevent users from listening to certain audio. If you do not have another browser available on your computer, Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator can be downloaded by going to the links provided below. Both are free. We advise subscribers to make sure they have the most up-to-date versions of either browser, as older versions do not support the technology.

For Internet Explorer
For Netscape Navigator

Make sure you have the most recent version of Windows Media Player installed. The audio codec will work on V.9 or higher. You can download the most recent free player here.

ATTENTION FIREFOX USERS:

We have not tested or configured this service to work with this browser. If you are using Firefox as your browser and are experiencing problems, please close all windows and open Internet Explorer.

Mac Users:

MoneyTalk OnDemand is fully compatible with Macs.

How do I upload the show to my portable listening device?

As the process can vary from user to user, we strongly recommend you refer to the information provided by the manufacturer in the original packaging.

For more answers about Windows Media Player®, you can go to the Microsoft Windows Media® Center <www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/mp10/faq.aspx>

Also important: make sure you have the most recent version of Microsoft Windows Media Player® (v.10). You can download this free of charge by going to Microsoft's support page <www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/default.aspx>

When I login, I am immediately brought back to the login screen again. Why does this happen?

It could be that you have your cookies disabled:

In Internet Explorer: click on “tools”, “internet options”, “security” and then the “custom level” button. You will then see a list of elements. Scroll down to the “cookies” portion and make sure that they are enabled.

In Netscape: click on "tools", "cookie manager" and click the option for "unblock cookies from this site" while on the login page.

I am a Marketimer subscriber. Why can't I use my Marketimer membership information (username, password, number on the envelope) to access MoneyTalk On Demand?

Marketimer (the newsletter) and MoneyTalk On Demand/To Go (the full, downloadable show) are two different entities, each requiring its own separate subscription. MoneyTalk On Demand is owned by ABC Radio Network, Inc. and Marketimer is owned by Bob Brinker, so there can be no merging of the two.

Does MoneyTalk On Demand have the written summaries that bobbrinker.com used to provide?

Due to copyright restrictions and the fact that there is no way to monitor the distribution of the written summaries by third parties, they had to be discontinued. We have no plans to include them with the subscription for this same reason.

The subscription is for audio-only, condensed to 1hr and 51 mins available to you to download or stream for three months after the show airs.

How does your billing work?

Your credit card or checking account will be billed $4.95 every thirty (30) days as long as your subscription remains active.

Regarding cancellations

In addition to our Terms of Use, please note that, in the event you wish to cancel your subscription, we will terminate your account upon notice from you via telephone or email. After termination, your credit card or checking account will no longer be charged the $4.95 monthly fee.

We will be unable to refund any monthly fees charged to your credit card before termination.
