Otley Courthouse is a unique arts and resource centre ,

created and run by local people, in Otley, West Yorkshire.

Open Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm – plus events and room hires.

• Take a look at our regular activities.
• Join our team of volunteers.
• Hire one of our rooms – including our new teaching / meeting room
• Hire the Courtroom for a wedding reception, adults’ party or children’s party, or conference. With the Summer Party season almost upon us we have the following dates available for private parties: 3^rd, 10^th, 11^th, 18^th, 24^th and 25^th August and 1^st September.
• Hire the Courtroom to put on your own play or gig.
• Pop in to our friendly Community Cafe.

New Designer Craft Fair

From May onwards our monthly Craft fair will be Designer Only … all crafts will be designed and made by our stallholders. As well as some favourite familiar faces there will be a host of new stalls, so make the last Sunday of every month your Designer Craft Fair and Farmers Market morning – and enjoy a Fairtrade drink and delicious snack at our Community Cafe.

If you missed the first Designer Craft fair on 27th May … it was great – with the Town Major and Town Crier in attendance. Here are some pictures to whet your appetite for the 24th June.

Can I just say how fantastic the Courthouse is, the space, the friendliness of the staff and general facilities. It was absolutely perfect and the party was brilliant. The two young men who organised the sporty activities were really impressed with the space. I couldn’t recommend the Courthouse enough to anyone that asked, many thanks to you and all your colleagues. – parent after a 5 year old’s birthday party.

I really like going to the Courthouse – a participant in our Half term craft workshops overheard when being collected by her mum.

On Sunday evening we attended the performance by Aly Bain and company. We knew it would be a good night, as we’ve seen Aly many times before. What was less expected was the warm welcome we received from everyone at the Courthouse, despite that fact that we had never visited before. Everyone seemed very ready to do everything possible to make the evening run smoothly, and to make sure everyone was happy. We rapidly decided that this was one of the friendliest venues we have ever visited, and we do tend to get around the country quite a bit.We do not expect to be regular visitors, as the round trip from home is around 140 miles, but we certainly intend to keep an eye on your website and to come again.
