Who is Pastor Ken Freeman?

About Pastor Ken: Ken Freeman has been involved in church planting since the early 70′s. In 1976, he established “Christ’s Fellowship” as a weekly Bible study group meeting with believers from many faith backgrounds to study and learn the Bible. This led to working with Calvary Chapel of Costa Mesa (Pastor Chuck Smith) and serving the “Word for Today” radio program with tape cassette support locally for the Dallas/Ft.Worth listeners. In 1980, Ken Freeman and Bill Phillipp from San Bernardino, CA to plant Calvary Chapel of Dallas which started in Bill’s home in Sunnyvale and moved to Garland, then Plano by 1985. In 1984, Ken Freeman founded Last Harvest Ministries, Inc. and was commissioned/sent out by Calvary Chapel of Dallas. Over the next twenty years, Ken Freeman attended Dallas Theological Seminary, Biblical Counseling Foundations Self-Confrontation Discipleship training level 1,2 and 3. He taught level 1 at area churches including Metroplex Chapel whose pastor at the time was Jim Garlow, now pastor of Skyline Church in San Diego. In 2008, Last Harvest Fellowship was birthed online. As of 2012, over 87,500 have visited the church. He authored Overcoming Abortion’s Aftermath (1985), Healing the Hurts of Abortion (1987), and Free Me to Live (1993-current) which has now served over 35,000 through recovery support. He has also trained over 2,500 pregnancy resource center staff members how to help the hurting.
