More About the Eye Surgeons of Millennium Laser Eye Centers

Cory M. Lessner, MD, completed his undergraduate degree at Emory University in Atlanta and his medical degree at Hahnemann University, School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He served his residency in ophthalmology and a clinical fellowship in general ophthalmology at Tufts University New England Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Lessner is an active member of several ophthalmology organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the International Society of Refractive Surgery.

Andrew Charles Shatz, MD, earned his undergraduate degree at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He completed an internal medicine internship at North Shore University Hospital in New York and his ophthalmology residency at Allegheny University-Hahnemann in Philadelphia. Dr. Shatz has lectured nationally at optometric and medical continuing education seminars on the topics of cataract and refractive surgery. He is a former radio host and producer of "For Your Eyes," a weekly AM radio talk show discussing all aspects of eye health. Dr. Shatz is a proud member of many professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Medical Association, the Medical Society of the State of New York and the American Medical Student Association.
