Cafe in the Courthouse

Fancy a cup of fair trade tea or coffee? Or some delicious cake? Why not pop into the Cafe in the Courthouse?spacer

It is open 10am-3pm Monday-Saturday, and serves a range of fair trade teas and coffees, home-made cakes, toasties, sandwiches and other snacks and cold drinks.

We are delighted to say that our sandwiches are made on lovely bread from Otley’s very own award-winning Bondgate Bakery. Our teacakes are from there, too! Where possible, we always try to stock locally sourced and fair trade products.

The Cafe in the Courthouse is run by a team of volunteers, along with the Courthouse’s Centre Manager and Volunteers Coordinator. . The cafe also forms part of the exhibition space used by local artists. For more information about what exhibitions you can enjoy with your cup of coffee, see this page about our In House Arts Group, who coordinate the exhibitions.

We’re working to make the cafe as welcoming and pleasant a place to be as possible, so expect to see some changes over the next few months: some on the menu, some in the cafe. If you’ve got any suggestions for changes you’d like to see in the cafe, drop us an email at admin@otleycourthouse.org.uk.

The money raised in the cafe helps keep the Courthouse open, and we hope that you’ll pop in, say hello, and have some nice food and drink.
