Who We Are

Sallyport, a KS International company, is a leading supplier of contingency operations support services. It is focused on enabling its clients to fulfill their missions in the most demanding environments.

Sallyport was founded in 2003 to support business enterprises working in Iraq in the post-war environment. Steadfast in the belief that the post-war reconstruction mission was a vital one, Sallyport raised the bar on turn-key life support and logistics, bringing professional contingency operations support; construction, hospitality, security, transportation, fire, health and safety services, to a new level as threat levels and violence increased. Within a short time, Sallyport was helping to enable and sustain the work of clients such as the US Department of Defense, US Department of State, US Agency for International Development, the United Nations, The World Bank, and others.

Today, Sallyport is a truly global contractor providing a wide array of services across a broad geographic area. It has expertise and substantial capabilities in more than thirty specialist areas, and has performed services throughout the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia; some of the most demanding locations, conditions, and political climates in the world.

Challenges are not always found in remote locations, and Sallyport is proud to assist the Federal Emergency Management Agency in its efforts to provide temporary housing solutions for victims of Hurricane Katrina. Likewise, it is proud to support the foreign policy initiatives of the US Government, and the development programs of USAID, the UN, and others, that strive to better the lives of ordinary people around the globe. Sallyport also has a strong understanding of the needs of commercial corporations, especially those who work in the Oil and Gas sector. Its nine specialist service divisions help provide a ‘protected gateway’, enabling businesses to pursue new opportunities in frontier markets around the globe.

Sallyport’s employees are drawn from more than a dozen different countries, and its management teams lead from the front – in the field. Together, they form a tightly knit team, sharing the same ethos and ‘can do’ work ethic.
