Hui No‘eau Visual Arts Center provides an array of programs that support lifelong learning in the arts including public workshops and classes, lectures, exhibitions, art events, historical house tours, and educational outreach programs with schools and community partner organizations.
The Facilities
We invite you to visit the facilities located on the Upcountry estate of Kaluanui. Walk the grounds and enjoy the beauty of this historic property. Our free self-guided tour allows you to explore the house and grounds (25 acres of open space), historic sugar mill, current art and historical exhibition, gallery shop, and professional artist studios.

Driving Directions
Coming from West MauiHead east on Honoapi‘ilani Hwy. (30) toward Kahului. As you pass Ma‘alaea Harbor, turn right onto Kuihelani Hwy. (380). Turn right onto Hana Hwy.(36). Turn right onto Haleakala Hwy. (37). Turn left onto Makawao Avenue. Turn left onto Baldwin Avenue and continue 1 mile downhill. The Hui will be on your right.
Coming from South Maui
Take Pi‘ilani Hwy. (31) West.Turn right onto Mokulele Hwy. (311). Follow to S. Pu‘unene St. & Dairy Rd intersection. Turn right onto Dairy Rd. (380). Turn right onto Hana Hwy.(36). Turn right onto Haleakala Hwy.(37). Turn left onto Makawao Avenue. Turn left onto Baldwin Avenue and continue 1 mile downhill. The Hui will be on your right.
