The A1 News Service is the only news broadcaster in the Federated Republics of A1, a micronation in Southern Australia, providing news to the citizens of A1, as well as being one of the most popular news agencies in the MicroWiki and Micras Sectors.

The A1NS was founded on the 28th June 2008, under government control. The A1 government relinquished control of the A1NS in June 2009, and did not control the A1NS until October 2010 when the former editor, Diego al-Hummingbird, resigned owing to extra-micronational commitments, and Philip Fish took over the editorship.

The A1NS is fully committed to providing a new service free from bias and vested interests. If you feel that this has not occurred, please contact us detailing your concerns.
