We also have a special Flavour of the Month and often bake more flavours at weekends, including Red Velvet and Spiced Carrot, along with a whole host of other treats like fudge brownies, cookies and cakepops.

The Little Cake Parlour was born 5 years ago and started as a home-based business, baking up all kind of cakes, cupcakes, cookies and pies for local cafes and delicatessens as well as weekly farmer’s markets. It quickly grew alongside The Rise of the Cupcake and orders for more specialised cakes for weddings and birthdays increased. Our cakes even made it on to TV at the MOBO Awards in 2009, to which we were delighted to be the Official Supplier both times the event has been held in Glasgow.
Two years ago, our shop with on-site bakery opened in Shawlands. It’s very important for us and our customers to know that everything is baked freshly to order and can be out of the oven and into your tummy within a couple of hours! Due to demand, the shop now sells mainly cupcakes which we bake every morning before we open and we have at least 6 flavours every day.
