About Me
Just to tell you a little about me. I am a 30 year old (as of 2011 lol) married, work at home, mom of 3 boys. Those boys are 13, 12, and 6. They are the goofiest, silliest, most exasperating children I’ve ever met. But, I love them dearly.
This was supposed to be about me though. I have been married for 7.5 years (it will be 8 in June) to a man that loves me more than I ever thought anyone would. And, he’s the first man who didn’t act like me having two children was too daunting a task to take on, for which I will be forever grateful. I am a transplanted Yankee (South Philadelphia born and raised…not quite like the Fresh Prince) who was forced to move to a little town called Asheboro NC when I was 12. This really wasn’t so terrible, but at 12 I thought my life was over. I’ve been down here over half my life, and people still consider me a yankee! I am obsessed with computers…and with playing The Sims 3. It’s a sickness, I need a 12 step program!
Anyway, along with being a Full-Time wife and mother, I also work from home selling Pure Romance! I love Pure Romance, it’s allowed me to be at home with my kids, sleep late on school days, and meet lots and lots of amazing women! Plus, I get to “empower, educate, and entertain” women a couple of nights a week! My kids like to tell everyone I sell “those” toys, but they have much less tact. I’m sure you can imagine what the school must think about me!
I got into couponing in May 2011, and love watching the savings add up. I never knew anything about couponing until I watched Extreme Couponing on TLC, and thought ‘Hey, I can do that…I’m at least as OCD as those people!’ I’ve found though, that I’m not half as OCD as I thought I was, but I do love to put my coupons into the little baseball card holders, and I bought a binder and bag from Pottery Barn Kids specifically for my couponing addiction. The most I’ve saved on a shopping trip was spending $212 for $483 in products. That was amazing to me! And more then the savings in the store, was the savings in gas! I was living in Jacksonville, FL, and shopping at Winn-Dixie. Now that we are back in Hickory, NC, I am shopping at Bi-Lo for my gas savings, and am currently keeping an average of $0.60 per gallon!
