Kevin Harter is Vice President of Fashion Direction for Men’s, Young World, Home and bloomingdales.com.

He began his career with Bloomingdale’s in the North Michigan store in 1988, and joined the store’s Executive Training Program in 1990.

In 1992, Kevin was appointed Department Manager for Men’s Sports Furnishings and shortly thereafter added Outerwear and Active Wear to his responsibilities. In 1993 he joined the central merchant organization as a Senior Assistant Buyer in Men’s and later that year was promoted to Buyer in the Boy’s Division, subsequently adding Girls to his responsibility. In 1997 Kevin was named Buyer of Men’s Woven Shirts and in 1998 was made Fashion Director for Men’s and Young World. In 2004 Kevin was named an Operating Vice President in his current position.

Kevin is an active member of the board of Housing Works, a group that provides lifesaving services to homeless and low income men and women living with HIV/AIDS.
