As you may or may not be aware the City of Newport Campus is holding their annual Campus Awards Ceremony on Thursday 28th June 2012, and as part of that process, the campus are asking for students to nominate their tutors, and other students, to receive awards for outstanding achievement.
The awards that students can nominate are as follows;
For Staff,

Work Based Assessor/Instructor/Demonstrator

Dear All,
Adam Smith (10099060@coleggwent.ac.uk) will take over as Acting President for Coleg Gwent Students’ Union from Tuesday 8th May 2012 - 11 June 2012 when he will take post as Sabbatical Students’ Union President for the 2012/13 academic year.
We wish a farewell to CJ Watkins who has sadly left us for a new job and welcome Adam Smith to the post.

Hi all,
This year has been great for the union, I realise it’s far from over but it’s time for me to say goodbye as I only had less than three months left with you and have a position waiting for me, and I know I am leaving the union in very capable hands.

Well, as many of you have heard, tomorrow marks is the day that our president leaves the job, so that he can continue on to a new job and show the world what he is made of.
Since August 2011, Christian has been there, doing his very best for the students, coming in early and staying late, making sure that the students got the best experience in college they could have.
He has come a long way in the last few years in the Union, he started off as Welfare Officer, then going on to Vice President, where he done…
