Diana McCleery holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Biology from the University of Memphis. She studied with ALACE, and is certifed with both the International Birth and Wellness Project and the International Childbirth Education Association. She has lived in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis for the last ten years. She's a shameless tree-hugging liberal, homebirth supporter, and proud mom to a spunky eight-year-old girl. Her goals are to provide accurate information and support to educate and empower pregnant women and their partners, in order to improve the health and welfare of mothers and children, and reduce costs to our nation's healthcare system due to unnecessary medical procedures. She has endorsed the CIMS (Coalition for Improving Maternity Services) Mother-Friendly Childbirth Initiative, and is a member of the Childbirth Collective and ICEA.

I see it as my special mission to support a family's lifestyle choices whether they be thoroughly unconventional or entirely mainstream. If you have the slightest concern, please talk with me.
