Rock Report
2/28/2008 | press link
If ever anybody wondered what happened to Jeff Vitolo, of Mojo Gurus-, Roxx Gang- & Tyger Tyger-fame, look no further; the man has been located. He is healthy & well and still rockin and rollin, although on an altogether different level than with his previous bands.
Mr. Vitolo is taking life the good way, gathered a couple of Tampa Bay-based friends & chicks around him and started a rootsy rockband. With rootsy I mean a whole lotta blues, some rockabilly, truckloads of slide guitars, but overall lots of good times & fun.
The record imediately starts firing on all sixes with title song Rock The House & doesnt give up until the middle 3 songs Hit It On The Highway, Youre My Old Friend & Sweet Missy Blue where the tempo drops drastically, just enough to catch our breath for the frivolous ending threesome of the album with Come On Everybody in a leading role.
In short, Rock The House is a nice feel good party album from a band that most likely truly shines in a live environment.
