The latest word from my new web site company is they are working on updating the code on the "back side" of my web site. The plan is to completely remake the site with up-to-date code. The result should be basically an identical web site that works. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I was told it should be finished around the end of June or first week in July. Currently my old company is still hosting the crippled site, but they are supposedly ending operations June 30. I expect this site to disappear on or before that date. So it's possible that I will have NO web site for a week or so...hopefully that won't happen.

I am still able to make changes to the Home Page listings, but am unable to make changes to the "Coin Inventory with Thumbnails", so please call or email to confirm availability or request photos.

I DO NOT send coins to CAC and DO NOT designate CAC in my listings. Many of the coins in my inventory were purchased with CAC stickers. Please call or email about a specific coin or full list of CAC coins

New Purchases from June Long Beach and Great British from the repurchase of my British Collection:

1787 Fugio Cent (United States Variety) MS64BN NGC This Fugio has soooo much going for it. First off is a great strike front and back with every detail of the design and lettering bold and fully struck...easily in the top 10% OF THE GRADE for strike. Color is a nice even chocolate brown with tinges of original RED throughout. Surfaces are spectacular, free of marks with shimmering full luster, a characteristic that is RARE in Fugios. Also, this is the United States variety, not States United and much scarcer with this type showing a pop of only six coins graded MS64BN compared to 29 of the States United variety grading MS64BN. Distinct evidence of die clashing resulted in clear impressions of the reverse rings on the obverse. A few minor fly specks, as made, are the only detraction to this coin, accounting for the MS64 grade. IMO this coin would have deserved a MS66 grade without them and a price in the $13,000-$15000 range. Spectacular FUGIO...$6400

1906 Indian Cent MS67RB NGC Perfection is truly elusive when it comes to Indian Cents, but the present coin is about as close as you will get. Super strong, glowing luster finishes this one-in-a-million type coin. 1864 Two Cent MS66+BN NGC (Aspen Park Collection) This is the finest large cent for the BN or RB designation that I have seen. The strike is full and sharp. The color is far from Brown. Instead bluish-rose highlights perfectly blend with even chocolate brown on both sides. Surfaces are basically flawless and the luster glows. Inimproveable in terms of both technical quality and eye-appeal...$2500

*SOLD* 1865 Two Cent MS65RD NGC I buy almost no RED copper from this era for one reason. Virtually every piece is blotchy, has dark carbon spots and has poor eye-appeal. On occasion I find an exception and am thrilled when I can be the one to bring it to market. This Two Cent is the best for the grade that I have seen in many years. Fully struck, fully RED and fully lustrous, with no problems, marks or obvious carbon spotting. This coin is so exceptional, the dealer I purchased it from cracked it out of a MS65RD PCGS holder going for a MS66RD grade. NGC also graded the coin MS65RD and it comes with the old PCGS insert No. 5694237...$1975

1892 Barber Quarter MS65 NGC First year of issue and a beautiful type specimen. Fully struck and about 60% original white with lovely rose and blue toning at the left field and around the rims on the obverse and reverse. Full GEM surfaces, so much cleaner than the average Barber quarter of this grade and full luster. Exeptional type coin...$1475

Reverse is mostly brilliant with just a hint of rose, similar to the center of the obverse. You will not likely to find a more attractive Barber Quarter for the price in the next five years...$1395

1911 Barber Quarter PF68* CAMEO NGC WOW!! This Barber quarter looks like it just fell from the dies. Absolutely brilliant Black and White CAMEO that just misses a true ULTRA CAMEO, but is more deserving than many I have seen that actually bear the designation. Gorgeous snowy white strong CAMEO with a wonderful smooth appearance as opposed to the uneven die polished look that often comes on these CAMEO Proofs. Super deep mirrors and completely haze free. There are boring and unattractive PF68's and there are true MONSTER GEMS. This coin is among the top of the heap. "Star" designated by NGC for exceptional Quality and Eye Appeal...$12,000

1916-D Barber Quarter MS65 PCGS A lovely original Gem showing a full strike, super clean surfaces for the grade and splashes of blue and violet toning with full luster. Very pretty type...$1250

1858 No Motto Seated Half PF64+ NGC A wonderful deeply toned original near GEM example of this very tough early Seated Proof date. The Red Book shows an original mintage of only 300+. Pop: 1 in PF64+ with only 10 pieces graded higher. Absolute needle sharp strike with deep blue patina and showing considerable rose highlights on fully bright and reflective surfaces. Incredible quality and eye-appeal on this very rare Proof issue...$5750

*SOLD* 1867 Seated Half PR64+ CAMEO PCGS The first "plus" coin graded of the date in any designation and a considerably scarcer early "Motto" date in all Proof grades. This example is superbly pleasing, showing a strong snowy white cameo with just a hint of violet-rose patina going slightly deeper into the fields and at its deepest at the peripheries on both sides. Fully bright and reflective with TOP FLIGHT eye-appeal...$3500

*SOLD* 1841 Seated Dollar AU55 NGC Stone original, well struck with full head detail, and problem free. Medium antique silvery gray patina with considerable remaining luster...$1685

1854 Crystal Palace So-Called Dollar (HK-8; T-3) MS62 NGC A very attractive and highly detailed medal depicting The Crystal Palace, a cast-iron and glass building originally erected in Hyde Park, London, to house the Great Exhibition of 1851. Following the success of the exhibition, the palace was moved and reconstructed in 1854 in a modified and enlarged form in the grounds of the Penge Place estate at Sydenham Hill. It attracted visitors for over seven decades.

1926 $2.5 Indian MS64 PCGS Super nice original with rich, deep golden color and high end of the grade in evey way...$1685

1921 Missouri 50c MS64 NGC A fresh, super lustrous near Gem. Mostly brilliant with lovely golden-violet toning around the obverse periphery. Very flashy and unusually eye-appealing for a Missouri...$1375
