Marina Bay Sands organized a World Hunger Week Campaign in line with World Hunger Day to help raise awareness of the global food shortage. Currently, there are 1 billion people all over the globe who live in extreme hunger and poverty.
Held from 28 May – 2 June, the week-long Team Member engagement campaign included activities such as a Zero Food Waste challenge, a Charity Bake Sale and a Canned Food Collection Drive. Over 9000 Team Members were encouraged to do their part and contribute back to society. [Read More]

With our participation in Earth Day (22 April) and all the activities leading up to the event such as iLight Marina Bay 2012 (9 March to 1 April) and Earth Hour (31 March), we achieved a total of 31,638 kWh in energy savings with our participation.
