In this 20-minute audio presentation, Mike Hudak suggests that efforts to motivate opposition to the federal grazing program should lead with aesthetic considerations rather than simply focusing on ecology or economics. Hudak draws upon writings of American naturalist John Muir along with interviews from his book Western Turf Wars: The Politics of Public Lands Ranching as examples of how to make the case for removing ranching from public lands.
