This is a comic called Rue Britannia which friends Hyperbubble say bis is included in the story as one of the bands the main character uses to make magic! They explain: “The story centers around a “Phonomancer”, one who uses pop records to create magic. Bis records are used in a similar manner as Kenickie records, of which the phonomancer claims, “…by the nature of their very existence, draw a line between all the forced dichotomies of modern pop. Seriousness is not the same as intelligence, no matter how many times virginal Radiohead fans reiterate it.
