As well as providing a graphic design service which encompasses the very best in website design and print practices we also produce business focused communication design, Graphic user interfaces, exhibition systems, packaging and brand identity.

With over 30 years of industry experience we produce high end quality work fulfilling every client brief, and understand how to achieve results. Branding and corporate identity. New or re-development of corporate identity logo marks, to define your public image, integrated into all forms of media including; stationery, printed brochures, websites and packaging.

Packaging and exhibition design. Packaging design concepts through to print ready artwork and exhibition design, working closely with production companies ensuring reproduction quality and high standards are always maintained.

Graphic design for print and multimedia. Design for print, interactive CD Rom and Flash showreels, GUI design, original concepts taken through to finished artwork level.

Website design and build. Creative design for the internet, making the most of evr changing technologies. We design and build SEO ready website from single html pages through to fully client managed systems which allows you to add new content, make edits or deletions, keeping information up to date many user friendly features.

Pre-press artwork. Taking finished design concepts and checking format for print, including image retouching, colour and font usage, supplying Hi res, print ready pdf files for lithographic, web press or digital reproduction.

Mike Harwood is a creative and versatile designer with over 30 years experience in the design industry, technically minded with extensive experience.

RESEARCH DIRECTOR

Ann Harwood works alongside Mike in the management of projects and has a wealth of knowledge in web research and print production.

HOW WE WORK

We actively encourage clients to get involved in the design process; when working on a website project, we provide clients with a link to a private web address to view progress of their project online. Allowing our clients to monitor progress encourages constructive criticism that helps create the perfect result.

Consultation
First we consult with the client to ascertain business objectives that define the metrics of success. We then discuss concepts, style, brand and aesthetics. A requirement specification is then drafted for consideration where appropriate.

Website development
A visual proposal is presented to the client via online browser access to assess how their new site will look on screen. Once approved the construction of the website or application is carried out with a link to a private web address so the client can add content (if a Client Managed System is being adopted as part of the build).

Search Engine Optimisation
All websites are optimised at a basic level for search engine visibility and web standard validation. Client management systems are built with full Meta tag, description and keyword areas to enable clients to update and manage their SEO on an ongoing basis.

User acceptance testing
Once the client is satisfied with the end result the web site or application goes live and in the case of websites, registered with Google if required where Google Analytics can be set up to motitor activity.

Print and exhibition design
All concept designs are processed as print ready artwork once approved, with pre-press or exhibition creation final sign-off required before production.

1999 IABC Gold Quill Award: Whilst working for Timothy Guy Design, Mike shared in their success in winning the 1999 IABC Gold Quill award, in recognition of the high quality of design excellence achieved for an internal and external communications programme for Honeywell Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Excess cigarette brand launch for OGT

OGT launch new brand : Excess Select
A series of billboards and posters designed to promote the launch of a new brand of cigarettes for OGT in Georgia. 3 Billboards sizes range from 6x3m, 9x3m and 10x4m, 5 different sized posters were created for use in shop backlit display cases and wall display. To support the street and shop marketing 7 different flash banners we're also generated.
