Jenn Grinels: In Her Own Words

In 2007, singer/songwriter Jenn Grinels of California made a tough decision. She gave up her apartment and embarked on her first tour, armed with nothing but her guitar, a beautiful voice and a passion for music. Four years later, the self-described “soulful, bluesy, jazzy, folk rock, singer/songwriter,” has released two full-length albums, toured the country extensively, built a national fan base and has won numerous awards. She has been named “APCA Female Solo Artist,” three years in a row, and was named the “2012 Music Act Of The Year” by Campus Activities Magazine. Although Grinels has taken the college circuit by storm, her unmistakable vocal and songwriting abilities have mesmerized audiences from coast to coast. After electric openings for artists like Christopher Cross, JD Souther, Dar Williams, Berlin and David Mead, Grinels continues wowing her audience, including critics like RedFenceProject.com who says, “Jenn Grinels seriously should be a star by now.  Note to the Music Industry: Get on it.”
