Getting it Clean, Lelo Style

I received the Lelo Antibacterial Clean Spray from FunWares Sex Toys. It turns out that Lelo sex toy cleaner is just as deluxe as the toys themselves. If you have Lelo products then you know how expensive they are. I know they come with a warranty, but I don’t ever want to have to use it. Lelo...

Want to Review Adult Products?

Ever read an adult product review and think “I can do that!”? I know, I thought so too. I love getting free sex toys in exchange for my opinion. There is a bit more work involved than just playing with the toys though. Most toy companies like for you to include details about the toy you might not have thought of. As a blogger, it may help to know what companies are worth reviewing for. These are some of the companies I work with. Some of them don’t mind if your blog is NSFW like mine and some other companies prefer Mommy bloggers to review for them. These are things I have learned along the way. All of these sites allow you to pick what types of products you would like to review, and most items are on a first-come, first-serve basis. But generally speaking:

Most companies have standard rules about reviewing. This list is by no means complete, as each company has their own policies.

  1. You must be at least 21 years of age.
  2. You must have a website with content that is viewable. Some companies would like a blog that is established, at least 3 months old. Other sites require you to have a certain rank on the web.
  3. Your site cannot display banners on a gateway page or sell sex for money.  It should also not be full of pop-up ads.
  4. Your site should not promote violence, bigotry, or hatred.

Rules for review posts. Most companies are pretty standard on this as well.

  1. The review must be at least 300 words long.
  2. Each review should include at least 2 links; one to the company and one to the product itself.
  3. You should not link to competitors in your review posts for that company.
  4. You should have the company listed on you blogroll.
  5. Your review should be both accurate and honest. If you don’t like the product, control your urges to lie about it!

  •  Eden Fantasys was the first company I worked with. They have an on-site program that doesn’t require you to have a blog. The review template is set up so you don’t forget the major points. They love getting new reviewers and they offer lots of support for helping to improve. It is a great place to go if you need to learn about a product. All the reviews are rated so you get a good idea if it is solid information. They also have an off-site ambassador program just for bloggers. I learned so much being a part of this community. They also have specialized clubs that you can join from the site, things like; mentoring, proofreading, cooking, kink, porn, writing, reading, and getting involved with charity. They have a unique points program that rewards you for being active in the community and the forums. spacer
  • spacer Babeland is a company I have been reviewing for for quite a while now. They offer up to 3 products for review at one time for bloggers. The have new stuff almost every week to choose from. They also host giveaways for bloggers, check out their site for more details. Babeland offers shoppers a very informative buyers guide, so consumers can get informed about their options. Babeland offers alot of products and banners for the GLTB community.spacer

  • Good Vibrations has a great affiliate program as well. They offer 2 products our for review at a time for bloggers. They have a loyalty point program which is pretty awesome. They offer a lot of sex education and they have unique ads for GLBT as well. They are based out of San Francisco and their stores offer workshops and education programs. The affiliate manager is very helpful at Good Vibrations.

  • FunWares is another company that I have had fun working with. After you are an established affiliate they send out packages worth $100 with no less than 3 products. You gotta shop around and find some without reviews. This company has thousands of products and “hot deals” all the time. Their price point is very competitive as well. You will get feedback from the company affiliate manager, he is there to help if you need it. spacer
  • SheVibe Review Project gives you $3 credit on a giftcard for every item you review. SheVibe has a great selection of toys and apparel I have used gift cards towards shoes and other things I just couldn’t find anywhere else. Their prices are great and the quality is top notch. spacer

This list is not at all exhaustive. There are a boat load of other companies out there that offer affiliate programs and review programs as well. These are the ones that I work with so I have a little bit of information about them. I am always open to review for other companies and I may add some from time to time.
You will notice that I didn’t mention commission rates at all. That is because some companies pay higher commission rates if you meet certain criteria. It is pretty boring to read about if it does not pertain to you. Most of the links on my site compensate me in some way when you click them. I do not have this website just to make money though. Some sites are just there because I want to help them spread the word.
