Jason Flick
Co-Founder and CEO

Jason is our fearless visionary—a successful entrepreneur and co-founder and president of YOUi Labs.

Not many people can say they architected one of the most scalable IT systems in the world. Jason has 18 years of technical and business innovation experience, bringing leadership as CTO and founder of N-able Technologies, and as founder of Flick Software, a mobile solutions and products venture whose customers included Intel, Rogers Wireless, the U.S. military, and Sybase.

Stuart Russell
Co-Founder and CTO

Stuart’s what you’d call a “big thinker”—a brilliant software innovator, NUI expert, and co-founder of YOUi Labs.

When technology is as complex as ours, the term “developer” just doesn’t cut it. Stuart is part inventor and part innovator, and has developed patented and groundbreaking technologies, including gaming and rendering engines for mobile platforms. Known for pushing the boundaries of UI, graphics, user experience, and immersion, he has developed bleeding-edge applications on an incomparable number of leading hardware and OS platforms, including BREW, J2ME, Symbian, WinCE/Mo, Linux, and BlackBerry.

Francis Moran
CMO

As our CMO, Francis has a distinctive passion for technology. Not only that, his licence plate reads RLYDOPTR (Early Adopter).

Francis has seen—and written—it all, with nearly 30 years, experience as a communications consultant, reporter, expert writer, and editor. An insightful marketing and public relations strategist, he lives and breathes technology. In fact, he’s a seasoned veteran when it comes to helping technology companies better understand and engage with their marketplace—and those who influence it.

Luc Duquette
CFO

Luc has an uncanny knack for all things accounting, finance, and administration, with more than 19 years’ experience to prove it.

As CFO, Luc is never fazed by fast-paced, ever-changing environments. After all, his impressive track record is already bursting with past senior financial roles in the high technology and construction industries. He is a chartered accountant with a background in business administration from the University of Quebec, and a member of the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants since 1988. Needless to say, he’s great with numbers.

Andrew Emmons
Vice President, R&D

Andrew has led an actual “world first,” with experience in releasing high-performance software to a range of devices.

Andrew has never been one to stick to the sidelines. Having spent more than seven years as director of engineering for the BitFlash division of Quickoffice inc., he was a key player in bringing SVG to constrained devices—and helping create the world’s first SVGT player, now distributed to more than 529 million units. He is also an important voice in determining world standards, acting as W3C’s co-chair of the SVGT standard, and with the Khronos Group. With expert skills in UI, graphics, and video game development, he continues to change the game.

Don Liberty
Vice President, Business Development

Business savvy is second nature to Don, who brings more than 13 years of industry success in sales and business development.

There are those who follow, and those who continue to lead. Don is a frontrunner in sales and business development of graphic technologies. During his years as general manager of the BitFlash business unit of Quickoffice, he oversaw accounts including ARM, Qualcomm, Nokia, and Samsung, and led the team that eventually embedded the SVGT player into 529 million devices worldwide. No big deal.
