Sometimes I get to guest on Angry Mac Bastards, and the fact that they let me pleases me to absolutely no end. I still can’t believe it. They are the smartest bunch of guys and they do NOT suffer fools gladly. Since I do not hold everything posted on DigiTimes as gospel, they are always really nice to me and they let me swear and giggle on their show, which is super duper fun. If you don’t listen to the show, go check it out. They’re insightful and smart. (SPOILER: They’re liberal with The Seven Dirty Words, in case you hadn’t figured it out yet.)

Anyway, on Twitter today, Darby let fly a little tech reporting/Pulp Fiction mashup and it made me giggle, so as it kept spinning around in my head, I came up with this. I hope they like it. I also hope to hear one (or more) of them standing over a cowering “analyst” and quote it as said analyst is repeatedly bludgeoned with a sock full of pennies.

I have to admit he’s pretty snappily dressed.
I still don’t know if I like this version of River.

But we know he isn’t dead.

She’s still regenerating isn’t she?

I hope this works.

That was warped and weird.
How do they know she lost all her regenerations? Because she cashed it in on someone else?
Ohhhh, there’s her book. Interesting.
I don’t think she can be undone, we haven’t seen it warped yet have we?
Does he know she’s going to kill him? Or just when he dies?

Oh noes. Archaeology. WHO is he he talking to?

OK, I feel like this coulda been a really exciting episode but I just didn’t really feel it. Mostly just weirdness and I feel like this was half an episode and we could have spent more time exploring River and her deal. I don’t know why. Somehow this just wasn’t an episode I really enjoyed. Not for lack of trying, but I watched it for the blog and then watched it again and I just couldn’t get there.
