Rehabilitation is among the most complex and specialized fields in all of medicine. This means where you go for rehabilitation, and who provides it, make a critical difference.
Welcome to Sunnyview.
Founded in 1928, Sunnyview Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Upstate New York, is a 115-bed hospital specializing in physical rehabilitation. Every year, more than 15,000 individuals come to Sunnyview from across the Capital Region of New York State and beyond. What sets Sunnyview apart?
Nationally recognized as a leader in neurological patient care, Sunnyview's Neuro-Rehab Institute treats patients with a wide range of neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury. Sunnyview's expert staff is devoted to enhancing the delivery of personalized, comprehensive state-of-the-art rehabilitation treatment through coordinated patient care, education, research and outreach activities. Our integrated and intensely tailored approach is supported by technologies at the forefront of modern science.
Our approach is individual and unique.
Because no two patients -- regardless of diagnosis -- are the same. Sunnyview staff members work as a team to evaluate and treat each patient as an individual. The result is often a bond between patients, therapists, medical and psychological professionals, as well as family members. A bond that frequently plays a critical role in helping the patient regain independence.
