Over the past one and a half days you have heard the various presentations from members of the Int’l Structure on the Vincentian activities around the world. They are involved in tremendous amount of work notwithstanding the great amount of effort, time and sacrifices they are subjected to... 

On Sunday 17th of June, the meeting started with the Holy Mass and then David Williams presented the different aggregations of countries, namely Argentina, Australia, Cambodia, Canada, France, among others, which reflects the constant growth of the SSVP, approving many conferences, a Regional Council and another diocesan one in Ireland, and 15 Area Councils in Colombia, India, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Ireland. 

The day of work for the members of the Permanent Section and the International Executive Committee of the SSVP’s IGC started in the city of Bangkok, with the Mass said by Father Audace Manirabona, 

More than 200 members of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul from 13 countries gathered last May 24-27, 2012 in Cebu City, Philippines for the 1^st East Asia Group (EAG) Meeting. 

On 9 May 2012 we were honoured by the visit of the Superior General of the Daughters of Charity, Sr. Evelyne Franc  to our HQ in Paris. She was accompanied by Sr. Rosa Maria and Sr. Francois. This is their first visit to our HQ

The Assumption University, in the city of Bangkok, is one of the most prestigious Catholic Universities in Thailand, and there have met the members of the Permanent Section and of the International Executive Committee of the SSVP’s CGI.

On the last 26th of May, the  SSVP’s Superior Council of Argentina inaugurated a building located in Viamonte street, nº 1.663, in the centre of Buenos Aires (capital). The National President, fellow member Roberto Hernández, was the host.
