Picking the right niche also helps a lot. I’m currently trying to build up my latest niche which I hope will be my main earner.

I have been having the problem with jobs boards right now. I usually go for affiliate marketing and direct ad sales. Other times, I use other ways to monetize my blog – contextual ads, blog specific ads, and referring products from online marketplace to other readers that might be interested in the same product.

You should look at Yahoo’s front page and see how they write article titles to grab people to click. You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to get people interested about what you’ve got to say. In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
