Our ethos at Caldicot is to provide a community focused facility for the residents of Caldicot and its surrounding areas.

Our pool programme is literally overflowing with sessions and activities for everyone, from early morning swim sessions, aqua aerobics and aqua running classes, lane swimming, public swim sessions, family swim sessions, a ladies only swim session, inflatable and ‘fun & floats’ sessions, adult and junior swimming lessons and not forgetting our AquaJets! Don’t forget if you’re 60 years or over you can access the majority of our poolside activities free of charge as part of the Welsh Assembly Government Free Swimming Initiative. Also for our younger swimmers you can access dedicated public swims and organised activities through the year as part of the Children and Young Peoples Free Swimming Initiative.

We are proud that we offer 23 fitness classes a week catering for all fitness levels and abilities as well as classes dedicated to 11 to 16 year olds as part of our NRG junior fitness programme. The latest addition to the activity programme at Caldicot is our Junior Self Defence sessions for 5 to 7 year old and 8 years and over on a Tuesday afternoon, where children are  given the opportunity to experience martial arts with our trained instructor in a small group setting.

New for 2012… we are launching a new session – Parent and Tots Social, 1.00 pm to 3.00 pm every Tuesday from 3rd January. A dedicated parents and tots session for the under 5’s in our Community Suite – we’ll have the inflatable out along with our soft play, toys, etc – plus we’ll have the café open for those all-important parental refreshments.  We also offer a great range of children’s birthday parties.

Caldicot Leisure Centre is also home to many clubs and user groups that use our various facilities and rooms as their home, and they all welcome new members – so whether it is squash, badminton, martial arts, sub aqua, football or bingo we’ve got a club here waiting for you!
