After a long tiring 17 hour journey, Wits End is exactly the kind of place you want to arrive at. A warm welcome, a clean & modern bed and breakfast. We have been blown away by your hospitality, the delicious breakfasts to set up set us up for a day’s skiing, the packed lunches and the rides to the bus stop in the mornings, all of which have contributed to a fantastic holiday. I dislike large hotels intensely as they’re noisy and impersonal. I try and search out locally owned B &B’s and at wits end we definitely struck gold. The best I’ve ever stayed at. It really has felt like home. The Hospitality Industry is lucky to have you. Thanks very much April & Peter.

My husband and I stayed with Barbara and Vic for three nights while on our road trip to National Parks. It was about an 8 minute walk from their B and B to downtown Banff which was was great. They gave us tips on hikes and even gave us a guide book for one day. Breakfast was plentiful and served at 8 a.m. My only thought here is that we couldn't get an earlier start to do and see things in the national park., so we wish it could have been served earlier.
I e-mailed Barbara early in 2009 and we developed a great friendship by internet. When we arrived I felt we were cousins! Great place to stay in Banff.

Location is good - short walk to town centre, on bus route to gondola, hot springs, monstosity that is the Banff Springs Hotel. I'd recommend taking one of the good-sized en-suite rooms. There is a guest sitting room with fridge, microwave. comfortable chairs and lots of tourist information. Breakfast was excellent. Hosts Barbara and Vic are warm, friendly and do their best to ensure you enjoy your stay, with good advice on where to go, what to do and suggestions for where to eat.

A colleague and I stayed here for a week in Feb and I found this B&B more than just usual. We were in the bigger room with twin beds with bathroom inside our room which was very convenient and almost felt like we were in a hotel. What was great about this B&B was that April and Peter were really friendly and considerate hosts. We were greeted with a beer and some snacks as we have arrived late at night without proper dinner. It was perfectly located between the Downtown and the Fairmont Springs Hotel where we were attending a conference. A casual stroll down to the liquor store or supermarket was nice even at night. Once again I was very impressed with their kind hospitality providing us with muffins for the road. I would recommend this B&B to anyone visiting Banff.
