Welcome to our section of the Polish Poland website devoted to traditional food, cooking and recipes from Poland. The majority of these recipes are adapted from our handwritten family cookbook, which dates back to the early years of the 20th century. This cookbook was compiled around the Poznan (Posen) area of what has been at various times both part of Germany and Poland. Indeed the book itself is written in both Polish and German!

We are based on a small farm in an area thus far largely undiscovered by foreign tourists - the Lubuskie Lakeland, a picturesque area in the west of Poland.
