16 Jul 2009: KRISTEN WANTS TO MAKE A CAMEO ON 'GOSSIP GIRL'
Voicing the anonymous blogger narrating hit TV series "Gossip Girl," Kristen Bell has expressed her interest to score a role in the teen-drama-comedy project. In a bid to make her dream comes true, she admits to have reached out to the show's producer Josh Schwartz to have her appearing in person in an upcoming episode. There has been no word on Josh's response toward her request though. "I want to make a cameo and shoot it right down the middle," Kristen told reporters when she was leaving Cosmopolitan magazine's annual Fun Fearless Female dinner at the W Hotel in Los Angeles on Tuesday, July 14. Though so, she didn't elaborate what kind of role she would love to play in the series. Making a name in Hollywood entertainment industry after starring as the titular character in TV series "Veronica Mars", Kristen Bell has also joined the cast of "Heroes" playing the character Elle Bishop. Also invading the big screen, Kristen can next be seen starring in "Couples Retreat" and "When in Rome". Source |

10 Jul 2009: KRISTEN NEEDS FANS SUPPORT FOR VM MOVIE
Last night Kristen Bell tweeted from her twitter (IMKristenBell -- yes it is really her) about the Veronica Mars Movie saying "VM movie fans- rob and i took it to WB- and they said "there is no enthusiasm" to make it :( so fans have to convince WB! rob and i r in!" She also went on to say "ive told em i want to so bad- i think they dont think it will make any money so they want to be sure people will see it. big business. ugh." She thinks sending letters and feedback to Warner Bros. saying how much you would really love to see a VM movie would help out a lot! So if you are one of the fans who want to see Veronica Mars on the big screen, be sure you to let Warner Bros. know how much you want it to be made!! |

01 Mar 2009: KRISTEN (AND JASON) TO GUEST STAR ON "PARTY DOWN"
Fans still mourning the loss of "Veronica Mars" might want to figure out where Starz is on their cable systems. The cable channel isn't reviving the series or anything, but it at least has reunited creator Rob Thomas and star Kristen Bell. The actress will guest star in "Party Down," a new comedy that Thomas is executive producing for Starz. It premieres Friday, March 20, and Bell will appear in the show's season finale in May. "I couldn't be any more excited about working with Kristen again," Thomas says. "Her role in 'Party Down' is the first that we've written for a specific actor. Too often women and guest stars get stuck playing the straight man in comedies, but I think [fellow exec producer and 'Mars' alum John Enbom] created a character worthy of Kristen's significant comedic talents." "Party Down" follows the crew at Party Down Catering, a group of would-be actors and other misfits who pay the bills by working events ranging from a the sweet 16 party for a movie mogul to an! adult-film awards after party. In the finale, Bell will play a former Party Down employee who's now the head of a rival catering team and encounters her former colleagues when both crews work a big event. The show's cast includes a pair of "Veronica Mars" alumni, Ken Marino and Ryan Hansen, along with Jane Lynch ("The 40-Year-Old Virgin"), Lizzy Caplan ("True Blood," "The Class"), Adam Scott ("Tell Me You Love Me") and Martin Starr ("Freaks and Geeks," "Knocked Up"). In addition to Bell, Thomas and Co. have also recruited a number of familiar faces from "Veronica Mars" as guest stars, including Enrico Colantoni, Jason Dohring, Daran Norris and Alona Tal.
