Please be informed that Pegasus e-mail is being decommissioned on June 24, 2011. After June 24, Pegasus e-mail accounts will be disabled and all SMTP services will be moved to the new ucfsmtp1.mail.ucf.edu servers. The Pegasus website service will continue to be supported until further notice.
In place of their Pegasus e-mail accounts, state employees will need to set up a Microsoft
Exchange account by June 24, 2011. Pegasus users can request an Exchange e-mail account
through their departmental HR Liaison or by contacting the UCF Service Desk at (407)
823-5117 or
servicedesk@ucf.edu.
Pegasus users are asked to prepare for the decommissioning of Pegasus e-mail, as incoming messages sent to their Pegasus accounts after June 24 will not be forwarded to their new Exchange accounts. Likewise, e-mails in users' Pegasus e-mail accounts on June 24 will not be automatically moved over to their new Exchange accounts. Pegasus users must manually forward any important e-mails on their Pegasus account to their Exchange account. However, they will be able to save and import their Pegasus contacts to their Exchange accounts.
